Like someone posted before, something about the trainer is bugging infusions I think it is, I haven't played it for the longest time mainly due to this issue, but something with the trainer causes your health, salt and shield to go to the max level after one or two infusions and be non-upgradeable anymore, but your health, shield, and salt stay at the level you just upgraded it to, or what it was supposed to be upgraded to, for example, if you upgrade health to level two with an infusion, with the trainer on, you get health upgraded to the second level, then you go back to upgrade it again, and can't due to all the infusion slots being maxed.
